MID SEM BREAK
During the mid sem break, we were asked to observe and then draw a total of 20 detailed drawings of any furnitures, fixtures, ceiling or wall features in any restaurants. So, during the break, i visited a few cafes and observed a few of their furnitures, built in and loose, and also their ceilings and walls.
Here are some of the 10 drawings out of the 20 we were asked to draw. :) Have a look!

WEEK 3
Difference between built-in furniture and loose furniture.
Today, we were taught on how to tell the difference between a built-in furniture and a loose furniture. Basically, built-in furniture is a furniture that is permanently placed and they often look like they are part of the house itself. It is able to provide lots of storage space and it can occupy an entire wall without making the space feel smaller.
Loose furniture on the other hand, is the total opposite of built-in furniture. It is independent of the building and can be moved freely to anywhere we desire.
